Well, the battling buccos have done it again. Andy LaRoche's 2 run homer in the 5th inning gave the Pirates the only runs they would need. The Pirates beat the Twins 2-1 this afternoon to improve their spring training record to 6-1.
Their 6 wins are the most in all of baseball.
The Pirates will be consistent pitching away from being a competitive team. If all of their talented pitchers pitch well in the same season, the bucco could stop here.
