Nate Washington signed with the Tennessee Titans this evening. Terms of the deal have not yet been released. It's a bittersweet moment for Steeler fans.
On one hand, it's really difficult to lose a highly productive 3rd receiver. However, the Steelers drafted Limas Sweed in the 2nd round a year ago and are expecting him to take over Washington's role and hopefully mold into a #1 or #2 receiver. You cannot help but to be happy for Washington as he has been a class act and a hard worker during his time in Pittsburgh.
The Titans are in need of a young, fast playmaking WR...and Nate Washington may be just that.
